Description of Preferred Embodiments In the following description and claims, the description of the baby carrier is to be understood as being supported on the wearer's side of the carrier unless otherwise indicated. Figs. 1 and 2 schematically show a baby carrier 1 according to the invention. The child carrier 1 comprises adjustable chest straps 11, which are mutually arranged to extend around the two shoulder areas 3 of the bar 2 and are connected to each other on the back side of the bar and each form a closed belt loop. An adjustable waist belt for 12 years connected to a first part 111 of the respective chest strap. A bar bag 14 is mounted on the chest straps and the waist belt and comprises a front piece 16 which together with at least the chest straps forms a stretcher pocket 18. A lower part 20 of the front piece is connected to the waist belt and forms at least one height-adjustable seat support 22 for a child in the maternity ward. An upper portion 24 of the front piece is releasably connected to the first portion 111 of the respective chest strap. The releasable connection of the upper part can be achieved with e.g. a longitudinally adjustable strap 25 which is fixed to the inside of the upper portion 24 and which by means of a coupling device 25a is releasably connected to the respective breast strap 11. A second portion 112 of the respective breast strap 11 is attached to an intermediate portion 26 of the front piece 16, preferably releasable fixed to the front of the front piece by means of a coupling device 28. This second part 112 is connected via a connecting member 29 in the form of e.g. a strap or piece of cloth with the first part 111 of resp. chest strap The bar pocket 18 is, in a preferred embodiment, formed by the intermediate portion 26 of the front piece, the lower portion 20 of the front piece, the seat support 22 and at least the first part 111 of the respective breast strap together with the connecting member 29 connected to the second part 112. 111 of the respective chest strap can be replaced by e.g. a flexible piece of fabric which can then form an extension and connection of the two chest straps down to the waist belt. From Fig. 3 it can be seen that, when rotating / moving the baby carrier around the wearer's upper body, the first part lll and the second part ll2 of the respective breast straps ll are attached to the front piece in such a way that they become almost parallel to each other, i.e. they carry, in the position shown, about the same load. More specifically, the second portion 111 of the respective chest strap is attached to the front piece 16, preferably by means of the coupling device 28, in such a way that a tangent extending parallel to the main direction of the other portion 111 forms an angle d of about 20 to 29 °, preferably about 24 °. °, with a horizontal plane. See Figs. 1 and 8. As can be seen from Figs. 4, 5 and 6, the two chest straps 111 are connected to each other by means of an adjustable, flexible, non-divisible member 30, preferably in the form of a longitudinally adjustable strap 30. In particular from the position shown in Fig. 4 that the entire weight, which is normally supported by the respective belt loop, is supported during the rotation / movement of the belt by the belt 30, as this is placed over one of the wearer's shoulder S. . the two chest straps must not be able to be separated from each other. Furthermore, the strap 30 is preferably arranged adjustable along the length of the respective breast strap 11, see Fig. 6. This can be achieved with e.g. a fitting pole 32 arranged along a part of the respective belt loop and a sliding shoe 34 adapted to the fitting pole, the respective end of the belt being attached to the respective sliding shoe. Furthermore, the waist belt 12 with associated buckle 35 is designed in such a way that it facilitates the movement of the sling between the wearer's chest side and the back side. For this purpose, the inner surface of the waist belt may be made of a low friction material. The buckle 35 of the waist belt 12 is preferably arranged divisibly to facilitate the putting on and taking off of the baby carrier. The seat support 22 is arranged in a known manner in height in an adjustable manner at the carrying bag 14 so that the depth of the carrying pocket 18 can be adapted to the size of the child. More specifically, as shown in Fig. 7, the seat support should be adjusted so that, together with the placement of the coupling device 28 on the front piece 16 and the connecting member 29 between the first part 11 and the second part 112 of the respective chest strap 11, the depth of the carrying pocket is such that the child's center of gravity T is always located below the level of the upper edge 29a of the respective connecting means 29, i.e. a distance D between the child's center of gravity T and a schematically shown circle C, which is level with the upper edge 29a of the respective connecting means 29, must always be greater than zero. This is to ensure that the child can never fall out of the baby carrier, partly when turning / moving it from the wearer's breast side to his back or vice versa and partly when the child is sitting in the baby carrier, as this is placed on the wearer's breast or back side. As can be seen from Fig. 8, in the planar extent of the baby carrier, a distance Y from the attachment of the front piece 16 to the waist belt 12 to a center point A for the attachment of the coupling device 28 to the front piece 16 should amount to about 23-27 cm, preferably about 25 cm. Furthermore, a distance X between the upper attachment point (shown in Fig. 8 as a stitch line on the outside of the front piece) of the adjustable strap 25 at the inside of the upper portion 24 and the center point A of the coupling device 28 for attachment to the front piece 16 should amount to about 13 17 cm, preferably about 15 cm. From Fig. 9 it can be seen that, to the planar extent of the baby carrier, a distance Z between the upper attachment point of the adjustable strap 25 at the inside of the upper portion 24 and the center point B of the coupling device 25a for attachment to the breast strap 11 amounts to about 13 17 cm, preferably about 15 cm. To move the baby carrier with the baby sitting in it from the wearer's chest side to the back side of the wearer, proceed as follows: When the baby is placed in the baby carrier on the breast side, the wearer pulls one arm under the first part lll of the one breast strap ll, which extends around the first shoulder, so that it ends up completely under one arm. Then the wearer pulls his second arm under the second part 111 of the second chest strap, the second breast strap ending up over the wearer's second shoulder (Fig. 3). The strap 30 together with the two breast straps 11 forms a closed loop over the wearer's second axis, which ensures that the baby remains in a substantially upright position with the baby's center of gravity below an imaginary circle around the baby (Fig. 7) maintained by the closed loop of the breast straps. . In this position, the wearer can now turn the child under one arm behind the back (Fig. 4). When the baby is then turned completely to the wearer's back side, one arm can be pushed back through one breast strap and the other arm into the other breast strap so that the baby now sits completely on the wearer's back and with the baby's two breast straps completely over the wearer's two shoulders. In this position, the strap 30 is located on the chest side of the wearer. During this whole rotation / movement, the buckles 25a, 28 are preferably locked at their respective parts of the harness and the waist belt 12 is closed.
